Kuno: Ch. Kitambi Kuno Moon by Zareba, SC

Kuno arrived in February of 2000. He was the long awaited grandson of my Foundation dogs CH. Callyhi Keesha of Koya, ROM and AM/CAN CH. Riveroads Serengeti Jakeriah, ROM. I introduced Kuno to the show ring at the tender age of 8 months. Boy did he love it! So eager to show off, he just danced on the leash. To my great joy the following weekend he slowed down enough to be awarded his first two points. Since then he has shown well, tried obedience (not his thing), and lure coursing - which he just loves. He earned the title of Senior Courser and has won both Best of Breed and a 4-point major towards his Field Champion title (see photo to the right).  Kuno has sired 5 litters and has 7 Champions, 3 more pointed, and a few youngsters that are competiting in the ring and on the field. Kuno is a multiple Best of Breed and Group placing dog. Some of the dogs he has sired include Milo, a #8 All-Breed and #13 Ridgeback who was also featured on Animal Planet as well as a multiple group placing #9 Ridgeback bitch in 2005.
Kuno was recently suffered a spinal injury and is slowly recovering with TLC, acupuncture and herbal remedies to stimulate his nerves once again.
