Early on, Baddest Bess started out her quest for her Championship with a bang, a 5-point major by going Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/ Best of Opposite Sex over Specials from the Bred By Exhibitor class. She went on to win Best Bred by Exhibitor followed up by a Bred by Exhibitor Hound Group 1 on the same day.
Bess won Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the 2010 RRCUS National Specialty and in 2011 was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the National Specialty! As her breeder and owner, we couldn't be more proud of this tremendous accomplishment by such a beautiful girl.
Breeder-Judge Doreen Kent said of her in 2010: "I had no problem finding this lovely young lady for the blue ribbon. I felt she was spot on female Ridgeback type. Gorgeous headpiece. Absolutely lovely. Poetry in motion."
Best in Sweepstakes winner at the Raisin River Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Michigan Regional Specialty and Reserve to a 5pt major from the Bred By Exhibitor class- her very 1st time in the ring. She knew how to shine.
It was fate that "Baddest B" ended up staying with us and we couldn't be happier. As a puppy, she was so much fun, into so much trouble and very cute. Bess was a girl with showmanship and movement to beat.
She was so much fun to show, never missed a beat and had many successes in the show ring, all owner-handled. I couldn't be prouder to have been on the other end of her lead.
